The Art of the Loop is a 2001 short video piece and digital art compilation by former pornographic actress, sexologist, and performance artist Annie Sprinkle. Accompanied by scholar Dr. Jeff Fletcher, the film explores a collection of archival 8mm adult film "loops" spanning the 1950's through the 1980's, exploring the evolving medium of pornography and sexual representation in art.
