When Maria and Dixie finally arrive at their vacation rental after a long drive, they decide to freshen up and settle in as Dixie heads off to take a shower and Maria goes to the kitchen to make them a couple of drinks. As Maria mixes up their drinks, a strange man comes to the back door, frightening her. She approaches hesitantly and is relieved when he tells her that he is the owner of the property and just stopped by to drop off the keys to the back entrance since he forgot to leave them. He tells her that she can easily tell the difference between the two sets of keys because these have a shiny keychain and when he holds them up to illustrate the shiny keychain begins to flash a brilliant white light and then envelope Maria in a mesmerizing glow, putting her into a mindless trance. The man easily manipulates Maria's body, turning her around and holding her by the shoulders as he gropes her. He orders her to strip out of her clothes, which she does immediately, then he tells her that they should see what her friend is up to.
